Ines and Lutz have a habit of going to the fish maket most of their Saturdays. It is a nice habit, if you like fish. I do, so we have some nice fresh fish there.The atmosphere is nice, just the entrance to the area is quite smelly. That is the place, where the garbage cans are located. Actually I don't know, if we came in the main entrance...
On the way in, two pelicans greeted us on the parking. An asian family was hunting for photos, so I joined in.

In the afternoon, we went up the east cost to Palm beach. Also a nice area, more landscape and more water here ! we had a stroll there. This area is a peninsula, on its west you find Pittwater, which is actually freshwater. That was also the side without wind, which kept us a bit warmer. The water temperature ws quite nice, but nobodz brought a swim suit or towels... so it was just enough to put the feet in.

On the way back, we went to Borgnis Street. This one is apparently well known for their christmas decoration. Have a look yourself at the photos. Almost all the houses were heavy with lights and decoration. Parents came with cars to have stroll with their kids and evene an ice cream van was waiting for customers !
Listening to the local people talk about the light, you can apparently distinguish the nationality of the house by looking a the way they decorated it... I couldn't. It all just looked similar style to me.
